Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guest needs.
• Follow established protocols for janitorial tasks, including waste disposal, window cleaning, and deep cleaning procedures for industrial or high-traffic areas.
• Adhere to hospitality standards by providing friendly service and responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness or comfort.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness deficiencies and report them promptly for resolution.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines related to custodial practices and industrial cleaning procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to handle large-scale or specialized cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough inspections and identify areas needing attention.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest inquiries.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
