Audit Data Analyst - Staff Auditor (Intermediate) | Salary: $69,920 - $133,620 annual

Hyra is working on behalf of USAA to hire for the position of Audit Data Analyst - Staff Auditor (Intermediate). This role is responsible for performing audit data analytics and driving innovation in audit execution by developing and deploying data analysis solutions. You will collaborate with audit teams to identify opportunities for data-driven testing and operational risk identification.

What you'll be doing

• Implement data analytics approaches to identify anomalies and emerging trends within assigned audits.

• Apply analytical methods to draw conclusions and provide insight-to-action recommendations for business objectives.

• Locate, validate, and extract data from diverse environments to format for data analysis testing.

• Document all assumptions, methodology, and validation to meet peer review and compliance requirements.

• Build recurring reporting and automation solutions using tools such as SQL or SAS to support risk identification.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or four years of additional related experience.

• Two years of data analytical experience including the use of visualization tools.

• One year of experience applying analytics within an audit, risk, or similar controls environment.

• One year of experience with SQL or SAS data programming.

• Proficiency with data tools such as Tableau, Python, or Snowflake.
