Litigation Associate Attorney

Summary

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team at McHattie Law Firm. In this role, you will be responsible for representing clients in General corporate, employment, commercial and/or intellectual property litigation cases. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring favorable outcomes for our clients while upholding the firm's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations related to commercial and intellectual property disputes.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations regarding various business matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes effectively.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of litigation and trial experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• New Jersey bar and US District Court admission required, NY a plus
• Proven experience in litigation, particularly in commercial or intellectual property matters.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and presenting cases.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Flexibility for hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
