DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as ISO 9001 management representative and the voice of the customer.

· Maintain ISO 9001, NADCAP and other certifications.

· Maintain the Quality Manual and all Quality records.

· Manage the QC/QA effort to provide continuing improvement in line with the company Mission.

· Insure the confidentiality of all company information. Secure all files and records as required.

· Provide management direction and support for all areas of responsibility.

· Continually improve the performance of your areas of responsibility.

· To interface with peers in other areas of responsibility to reach conclusions that furthers the Mission of the company.

· Establish quality standards for all processing/production operations affecting product quality. Ensure the compliance of parts to customer and specification requirements.

· Develop receiving, in-process and final inspection criterion including applicable work instructions and necessary training for all processing routines. This includes required sign offs.

· Monitor processing line quality problems to establish trends. Evaluate trends to recommend solutions to problems.

· Participate in scrap, rework, repair, and sorting projects as directed. Provide appropriate documentation.

· Ensure that all inspection and measuring test equipment is properly calibrated, standardized, operated and maintained. Provide appropriate documentation.

Perform all facets of inspection and designates which characteristics are to be inspected. Develop the necessary procedures for performing the evaluations. Provide for the training of employees to maintain consistency in quality control inspection methods and procedures.

· Investigate and resolve any problems encountered by incoming, in-process and final inspection.

· This includes both internal non-conformances and customer rejections.

· Work with production and shipping/receiving departments to define special processing requirements, statistical methods, or special quality requirements.

· Ensure that all measurement and test equipment is provided at the defined inspection operations.

· Review customer complaints/concerns and initiate corrective actions, as necessary. Coordinate 8-D format team to address NC=s as directed.

· Maintain the information system required to keep management regularly informed of the status and results of inspection efforts.

· Function as primary liaison for all quality programs. This includes statistical techniques, PPAP, MSA, APQP, Prototype or sample runs, gaging, training, and testing relating to the quality department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per year
