Pinchin is seeking an Occupational/Industrial Hygiene Project Technologist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team in Edmonton. The role reports to the Operations Manager – Alberta Occupational & Environmental Health & Safety. This Replacement role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Role Overview 

In this role, you will support the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety team in helping clients create safer, and healthier work environments. You will assess conditions in the field, collect and analyze exposure data, and contribute to clear, practical recommendations through detailed and concise technical reports. Working closely with colleagues and clients, you will help deliver high-quality solutions that protect worker health, improve working environments, and align with regulatory and best-practice standards. This role offers meaningful, hands-on work and opportunities to develop technical and professional skills while contributing to projects with real-world impact.

What you bring to the Pinchin

  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Occupational Hygiene (or related field)
  • Six months to two years of professional experience
  • Working knowledge (i.e. interpretation) of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client interfacing and customer services skills
  • Familiarity and comfort with industrial processes and environments is considered an asset
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and execute detailed instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
