Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will drive improvements in our software delivery automation and enhance our Kubernetes platform operations.

In this role, you will…

• Build and enhance our automation pipelines to deliver applications, provision infrastructure, and configure software.
• Identify and implement improvements our Kubernetes platform operations
• Participate in platform design and architecture discussions with project teams
• Provide updates on new industry developments and deliver proof-of-concepts

Why you are the person we're looking for…

You've demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:

• Built Jenkins pipelines using Groovy and GitHub Actions workflows using YAML that have delivered applications from development to production
• Provisioned and maintained Azure resources using Terraform in a multi-developer environment
• Utilized GitOps and IaC to build, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms in a production environment
• Operated/maintained Istio service mesh in production
• Assisted in the development of Ansible automation for teams other than DevOps
• Experience with an observability platform to triage an incident

The following is not required but will be a bonus:

• Understanding of Kafka or Confluent technology
• Experience presenting designs and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Built self-service automation for other teams to utilize

Fundserv will cover the cost of maintaining your:

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Certified Kubernetes Adminstrator (CKA)
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-300)

Starting base salary range: $111,000 - $123,000/year
