Our growing and highly respected team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Logistics Coordinator (weekends) to join our head office in Burlington, Ontario.

Be Part of Something Bigger

As a Part-Time Logistics Coordinator, you'll be an integral member of our logistics team, supporting dispatch operations, customer service, and sales initiatives during weekend coverage. You'll work closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficient, on-time delivery across Canada and the U.S., while maintaining compliance with all cross-border and customs requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with logistics and dispatch experience who is looking for consistent weekend hours after completing comprehensive in-office training.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with drivers to advise on pick-ups, deliveries, and route updates.
  • Support drivers with on-road issues, including cross-border loads, ACE/ACI manifests, PARS/PAPS, and other customs documentation.
  • Update shipment status and load details in Truckmate.
  • Monitor and support route execution to maximize trailer utilization and service levels.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding scheduling, service updates, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Ensure accurate customs information and timely communication with brokers and carriers to support smooth border crossings.
  • Who You Are

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in cross-border dispatching with working knowledge of customs processes.
  • Confident using dispatch software and computer systems.
  • Strong customer service and driver support skills.
  • A respectful, reliable team player who takes pride in their work.
  • What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics or dispatch experience, preferably in produce or cross-border transportation.
  • Experience with Truckmate is a must
  • Working knowledge of ACE/ACI, PARS/PAPS, bills of lading, and customs broker coordination.
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Training & Hours of Work

  • Training Period:
  • Minimum 4 weeks of in-office training at our Burlington head office
  • Training will take place during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, daytime)
  • Ongoing Schedule (Post-Training):
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Remote after training
