Job Summary:
As a Repair Advisor, you are the primary point of contact for customers from drop-off to delivery. You play a critical role in managing repair timelines, communicating progress, and coordinating between customers, technicians, insurers, and parts suppliers by preparing accurate, high quality appraisal sheets for automotive and collision repairs.
Your goal is to ensure a smooth repair experience while maintaining MK Auto Group's standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the collision repair process, from intake to vehicle delivery.
  • Perform vehicle intake inspections and accurately document damage.
  • Prepare clear, detailed and accurate appraisal sheets that reflect required collision and automotive repairs.
  • Develop repair plans that support proper repairs, efficient work flow, and quality outcomes.
  • Communicate repair timelines, progress updates and changes to customers and insurance partners.
  • Coordinate closely with technicians and parts suppliers to ensure repairs are completed correctly and on schedule.
  • Review supplements, estimates and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organized and compliant repair documentation.
  • Manage customer expectations professionally and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Conduct final vehicle walk-throughs to confirm repair quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support shop productivity by prioritizing work and maintaining strong internal communication.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collision repair shop or automotive service environment as a Repair Advisor, Service Advisor, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and clear, honest communication.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple repair files simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work with integrity and accountability, ensuring accurate documentation and transparent customer communication.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, parts, insurers, and management to support team success.
  • Working knowledge of the collision repair process and insurance claim procedures.
  • Comfortable using estimating and shop management software (Summit, Mitchell, Audatex, CCC or similar).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
