As a Warehouse Worker, your duties will encompass a wide range of activities including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and that customer orders are processed with speed and precision. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees are expected to adhere to company policies, utilize provided PPE, and work in a manner that prevents accidents. The position involves regular physical exertion, including significant lifting and movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific requirements.
- Stage outgoing shipments and load/unload delivery vehicles.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular checks.
- Operate manual and electric warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and wear designated PPE.
- Perform manual labor including repetitive lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
- Report any safety concerns or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role is a plus.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting and standing.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
