Our Virginia Beach, Virginia location is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage our outgoing shipments. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all outgoing packages meet company and carrier requirements. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and without error. Your duties will include verifying shipping information, applying appropriate labels and postage, tracking shipments, and maintaining organized shipping records. You will also be responsible for coordinating the timely pickup of outgoing freight and assisting with any shipping-related inquiries. A strong understanding of shipping software and processes is beneficial. We prioritize a safe and organized workplace; therefore, strict adherence to Safety protocols and the use of required PPE is mandatory. While primarily an administrative role, there may be occasional Lifting of packages to move them to the staging area. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
