As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing items for shipment. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner and/or pick sheet.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and checks as required.
- Meet or exceed daily picking targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
