We are looking for enthusiastic Pickers/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately locating items in the warehouse using scanning devices, carefully picking them from shelves, and then packing them securely for shipment. You will ensure that orders are correctly assembled, accurately accounted for, and ready for dispatch, playing a critical part in our logistics process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and works well under pressure to meet performance targets. A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues are highly valued. We place a strong emphasis on workplace safety ; therefore, all associates must strictly follow our safety protocols. This includes the mandatory use of appropriate PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves, as necessary for the tasks performed. This position involves frequent movement throughout the warehouse and requires the ability to handle moderate Lifting of packages and boxes. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Stage packed orders for outbound transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
