Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular counts and system updates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Operate or oversee the operation of warehouse equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and usage.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as transportation and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety protocols, including PPE.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
