Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and efficiency to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate manual and powered equipment safely, as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting and stocktaking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
