We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to unload, inspect, and record all incoming goods, verifying them against purchase orders and packing slips. You will meticulously check for any damage or discrepancies and report them promptly to management. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are crucial. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. You will also be responsible for organizing and stocking received items in designated areas, utilizing our warehouse management system (WMS) for accurate inventory tracking. This role is fundamental to our overall logistics chain, ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed from the moment it arrives. Experience with forklift operation is a plus, though not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
