Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and stage materials accurately according to warehouse layout.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, free from obstructions.
- Ensure proper handling of all merchandise to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven forklift operation experience.
- Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
