We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, contributing to the efficient handling and storage of goods. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is essential. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform regular lifting and moving of inventory. You will work closely with a dedicated team to meet operational demands and ensure the smooth flow of products through our supply chain. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for outbound logistics.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform lifting and moving of packages up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE.
- Capability to perform regular lifting and material handling.
