We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely and correct shipments. Your primary duties will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying items using order sheets or scanning technology, and carefully preparing them for dispatch. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment targets. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory and order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Experience with lifting and moving various items.
