Join our bustling New York City warehouse as a Picker/Packer! This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and dispatched promptly. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment with speed and precision. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order sheets.
- Pack orders efficiently and safely, ensuring products are well-protected.
- Verify that picked items match order details to prevent errors.
- Use hand trucks and other equipment to move products within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and other logistics tasks as directed.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items regularly.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
