We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our Fort Worth, Texas location. This key position involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all activities. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage inventory, coordinate shipments, supervise warehouse staff, and ensure adherence to company policies and logistics best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in optimizing workflow, managing resources, and maintaining a high level of productivity. A strong commitment to safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. - Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities in good working order.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with other departments, carriers, and suppliers.
- Manage shipping schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Office.
