Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Forklift Operator. This position is essential to the efficient functioning of our warehouse and plays a key role in our overall logistics network. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, sort, load, and unload a wide variety of materials and products. The ideal candidate possesses excellent control, a strong sense of spatial awareness, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. Daily pre-operation checks of the forklift are mandatory, along with strict adherence to all company Safety policies and procedures. We require all employees to wear appropriate PPE while operating machinery or working on the warehouse floor. This role involves regular, sometimes heavy, Lifting and requires physical stamina and dexterity. You will work closely with inventory management and shipping/receiving teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and best practices in material handling is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport goods.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper placement.
- Adhere to all established Safety guidelines and wear mandatory PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Certified and experienced Forklift Operator.
- Demonstrated ability to perform safe Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
