Our state-of-the-art facility in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and safe logistics operations. Your duties will include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs on a variety of machinery, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated storage systems. You will play a key role in preventing downtime and ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse operations. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Safety is our utmost priority; you will adhere to strict safety protocols, use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and a strong knowledge of warehouse logistics are essential. Your proactive approach to maintenance will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our entire distribution network. Responsibilities include:
- Performing preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintaining equipment logs and service records
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and using PPE
- Assisting with the installation of new equipment
- Troubleshooting operational problems
- Managing spare parts inventory
- Supporting the logistics team in maintaining facility operations
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
