We are hiring a motivated Distribution Center Associate for our busy facility in Chicago, Illinois. This essential role supports the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. You will be involved in various warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a top priority, and adherence to all company safety standards, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The position requires physical dexterity, including frequent lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus, but training will be provided for qualified candidates. You will play a key part in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, contributing directly to our operational success. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and can work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Your dedication ensures that our logistics operations run seamlessly. Responsibilities include:
- Processing incoming shipments and verifying contents
- Storing goods in designated warehouse locations
- Accurately picking items for customer orders
- Packing orders securely for shipment
- Loading outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Operating warehouse equipment as needed
- Participating in inventory counts and checks
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and using PPE
