We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is vital for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, documented correctly, and dispatched in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of our Logistics operations. Responsibilities include creating shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining detailed shipping records. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and affix shipping labels to packages.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups.
- Confirm that picked items match the outgoing order documentation.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate shipping logs and records.
- Liaise with sales and warehouse staff regarding shipment details.
- Support shipping dock operations, including occasional loading.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or a related administrative role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and standard office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Capability for light physical activity, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Must strictly follow all Safety protocols and wear mandated PPE .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
