We are searching for a dedicated and experienced individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to support our warehouse operations. This critical role ensures the efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of goods, playing a key part in our supply chain. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, stacking merchandise, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and stability.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and order picking processes.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Proficiency in warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
