Become a key player in our fast-paced warehouse operations as an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders. Your main duties will involve locating items in the warehouse, retrieving them, and preparing them for packing and shipment. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You will work within a dynamic logistics environment, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to rigorous safety standards, including the mandatory use of PPE. This position requires constant movement, including walking, bending, reaching, and frequently lifting items of varying weights. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an order list or RF scanner.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify product information and quantities picked against order details.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform tasks requiring significant standing, walking, and lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanners is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety practices.
- Commitment to wearing PPE at all times.
