Become a vital part of our operations as a Warehouse Worker in Detroit, Michigan! We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to perform a variety of tasks within our busy distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving everything from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping preparation. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including aisles and storage locations.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in loading and unloading trucks for outbound and inbound shipments.
- Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns to management.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed to support overall logistics efficiency.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required for motivated candidates.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics setting.
