Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their items correctly and on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, selecting items based on order sheets or digital scanners, and staging them for the packing department. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners.
- Verify item quantities and product codes to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment safely to transport goods.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
