We are actively recruiting Warehouse Workers for our busy facility in Chicago, Illinois. This role is critical to the efficiency of our Logistics operations, encompassing a variety of essential warehouse tasks. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals who are committed to accuracy and maintaining a safe working environment. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment. This position requires physical capability, including regular Lifting of items, standing for extended periods, and manual dexterity. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods.
- Sort and stock inventory accurately.
- Pick items according to order specifications.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage.
- Prepare shipments for transit, including labeling.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear provided PPE .
