Responsibilities:
- Verify shipping orders against physical products to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Print shipping labels and prepare all necessary documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL freight).
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a warehouse environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform lifting duties up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of wearing required PPE.
