We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our busy warehouse in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics chain, managing both incoming and outgoing goods. Responsibilities include unloading and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking received items. For outgoing shipments, you will be responsible for picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders for dispatch. You must be adept at using RF scanners and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and requires standing for extended periods. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; all employees must strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Experience with warehouse management systems and a good understanding of logistics procedures are essential. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of all shipments.
