We are looking for a motivated Order Picker to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is key to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products promptly. You will work closely with inventory management systems to locate and retrieve products, ensuring the integrity of stock levels. This is a physically demanding role that requires accuracy, speed, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be provided with all necessary **PPE** and training to perform your duties safely. The ability to perform significant **lifting** and stand for long hours is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and order lists.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Conduct quality checks to verify order accuracy and product condition.
- Stage picked orders for shipping, organizing them by route or destination.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to products.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals and improve **logistics** efficiency.
- Handle frequent **lifting** of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform **lifting** and operate in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Commitment to **Safety** and proper **PPE** usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
