Our logistics center in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk. This position is key to ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and dispatched promptly. You will be responsible for verifying order accuracy, preparing shipping labels and documents, and coordinating with transportation providers. Your role involves ensuring that all shipments meet company and carrier requirements. Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area is essential for operational efficiency and safety. Adherence to all warehouse safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. While this role primarily focuses on documentation and coordination, some lifting of packages may be required, typically up to 30 pounds. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams and external carriers. Experience with shipping software and basic logistics principles is beneficial.
