Our growing logistics operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our talented team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse floor, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and the highest standards of safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Key responsibilities include coordinating workflows, scheduling staff, and optimizing resource allocation to meet operational goals. You'll play a vital role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics best practices is essential. You will champion safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE. This role demands excellent leadership qualities, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate a team in a demanding environment. Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in warehouse supervision and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for implementing operational improvements and ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols. This position involves regular physical activity, including occasional lifting of items weighing up to 60 pounds.
