Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify the accuracy of delivered goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and document findings.
- Enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label incoming items appropriately.
- Organize and stock received goods in designated warehouse areas.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding incoming deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control and other warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
