Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our Los Angeles, California distribution center. This role is critical for optimizing our **logistics** and supply chain operations, ensuring that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management systems. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing procedures that maintain inventory integrity and minimize discrepancies. A proactive approach to **Safety** is fundamental.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and thoroughly.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Track the movement of goods, including receipts, shipments, and internal transfers.
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all **Safety** regulations and protocols, including the appropriate use of **PPE**.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to support overall **logistics** goals.
  • May involve some **Lifting** and movement of inventory items.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or **logistics** roles.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with **Safety** procedures and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Comfortable with tasks that may require occasional **Lifting** of up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of **PPE** requirements for warehouse operations.
