Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for a dedicated Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is crucial to our overall logistics operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and readily available. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory, conducting cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this position. You will work closely with the warehouse team to support efficient material flow and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is expected. This role involves significant manual tasks including lifting and moving inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized stockroom and inventory locations.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams on inventory levels.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials.
- Perform lifting of inventory items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or WMS.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and analysis.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting.
