Job Summary:
We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within our warehouse. This role is essential to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that products are moved, stacked, and retrieved in a timely and organized manner. You will operate various types of forklifts, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; therefore, adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.   • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Stack and retrieve materials from shelves and storage areas.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
  • Assist with inventory counts and placement of goods.
  • Follow all safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Support overall logistics and warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to perform lifting and material handling tasks.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
