Our expanding operations in Sacramento, California, are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician. This role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and facility. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of warehouse machinery, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems. You will ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to Safety best practices. You will be responsible for conducting regular safety inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. The ability to perform Lifting of equipment parts and materials is necessary, along with a focus on ergonomic safety. Experience with industrial automation and a background in a logistics or manufacturing environment are highly desirable. We provide all necessary PPE and expect its consistent use. You will collaborate with the warehouse management team to implement improvements and ensure the optimal functioning of our logistics infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment compliance.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records.
- Operate equipment for testing and verification purposes.
- Assist with installations and upgrades of warehouse systems.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring equipment readiness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of heavy components.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
