We are looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center by expertly maneuvering forklifts to handle a variety of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products. This position demands precision, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety. You will be expected to conduct daily safety checks on your equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition. The ability to perform heavy Lifting safely and efficiently is a must. This role requires a proactive approach to warehouse management, contributing to inventory control and order accuracy. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. You will work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and maintain high standards of productivity. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is essential, and we provide ongoing training to ensure our team is up-to-date on the latest best practices in logistics and material handling. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper material handling.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and use required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed by management.
- Work effectively within a team to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Certification for operating specific forklift models.
- Capability for significant Lifting.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Dedication to upholding Safety standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
