Join our bustling logistics hub in Tampa, Florida as a Material Handler. In this physically demanding role, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, transport, and store materials. You will also be involved in receiving and inspecting incoming goods, picking orders, and preparing shipments. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires excellent physical condition, including the ability to perform repetitive lifting of heavy items throughout the shift. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are vital. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, contributing directly to our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience operating forklifts and other heavy machinery is preferred. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Moving materials to and from storage areas
- Assisting with inventory management and stock checks
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment
- Ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Adhering to all safety regulations and using PPE
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
