We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packer associates to join our growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is central to our Logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves and packing them securely for shipment. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves frequent Lifting , standing, and movement throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage.
- Pack items appropriately into boxes or containers, ensuring secure shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Collaborate with other associates to meet productivity targets.
- Support the overall efficiency of our Logistics processes.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Willingness to wear and use all provided PPE .
