Join our fast-paced logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona as an Order Picker. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires keen attention to detail, the ability to work quickly, and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be a key player in our fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive the right products on time. Success in this role depends on your dedication to safety and your efficiency in navigating our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists and pick tickets.
- Use scanning equipment to record picked items and update inventory.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before passing to the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are accessible and safe.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed for order picking.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Contribute to team goals by performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to perform repetitive lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and be on your feet for extended periods. Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand order lists. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. A strong sense of responsibility and a dedication to quality are essential for this logistics role. Familiarity with safety procedures is required.
