Our client, a leading food processor, is seeking a Materials Manager who will inventory operations of consumables, ingredients, packaging and more.
This role reports to the Plant General Manager and will coordinate with purchasing, Q/A, Production, Accounting and Shipping / Warehousing departments to ensure accuracy of plant reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementation of MRP program
Following FIFO methodology to meet company contract requirements and budget
Ensure documentation for deliveries
Ensure accurate inventories and regular audits
Ensure traceability and chain of custody
Develops staff to KPI’s
Manages CI initiatives
This role will have approximately 20 direct reports and is in a high profile, custom plant with robotics and automation.
