Maximum Wellness Rehabilitation Center, a fast-paced, multidisciplinary practice, is seeking a full-time Staff Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with orthopedic/sports injuries, spine and back pain, post-surgical conditions, chronic pain, and motor vehicle accident (MVA) related injuries. In this collaborative environment, you'll work closely with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Chiropractors, Rehabilitation Technicians, and other team members to provide comprehensive rehabilitation.Success in this role requires strong clinical skills, excellent documentation abilities, a patient-centered mindset, and enthusiasm for a team-based approach to medicine.Key Duties:
* Perform thorough initial evaluations, assess patient needs, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and improving mobility.
* Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities (including advanced technologies such as DRX9000 Spinal Decompression, Game Ready, NormaTec Compression Therapy, or similar) as appropriate.
* Guide patients through progressive rehabilitation programs, monitor progress, and adjust plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient documentation in compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
* Foster open communication and collaboration with fellow providers (PT, OT, NP, DC), rehab technicians, athletic trainers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
* Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient clinic flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.
* Participate in marketing and outreach events as requested to support practice growth.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program (or equivalent Master's degree for experienced candidates).
* Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
* Open to all experience levels—new graduates welcome; prior outpatient orthopedic experience is a plus but not required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, energetic approach.
* Proficiency in patient documentation and electronic medical records.
* Physical ability to perform hands-on therapy, assist with patient handling, and demonstrate exercises.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
