Responsibilities
  • Safety Supervision - Oversee and promote safety behaviors and culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Production Management - Actively supervise assigned sections, ensuring teams meet manufacturing plans, and adjust requirements with Team Leaders to achieve production goals.
  • Team Training and Development - Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering skill development and enhancing team performance.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives - Support and promote process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure products are built to engineering and quality specifications, maintaining accurate daily assembly production records for performance analysis.
Qualifications
  • Education - Post-Secondary Education in Trade or Engineering is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience - Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is essential; extensive experience with residential construction or manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Certifications - Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are advantageous.
  • Knowledge and Skills - Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities; proficiency in multitasking and maintaining flexibility with shifting priorities; excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
