POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is accountable for the execution of complex HR operations and Workday processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless daily HR service delivery. Is responsible of maintaining data integrity, monitoring integrations, and driving improvements through audits, testing, and system enhancements. Leads reporting, benefits administration, and time and absence providing clear guidance to internal customers.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:

HR Operations & Information Systems

  • Execute and oversee complex Workday HRIS transactions (hires, transfers, terminations, compensation changes, LOA, organizational updates).
  • Provide Tier support for Workday issues; troubleshoot and escalate to HRIS or vendors as needed.
  • Support configuration updates, enhancements, and Workday releases (UAT, test scripts, validation).
  • Monitor all HR related Integrations with third party vendors making sure that demographic and other data is working as expected.
  • Create and maintain SOPs; deliver training to HR and business users.
  • Conduct HR audits (data integrity, eligibility, access controls), maintain compliance documentation, and support privacy/security governance.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and deliver Workday reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, DEI, compliance, accruals, payroll reports, and others).
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and maintain reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with enablement of self-service analytics for HR and business leaders.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure headcount planning reflects budget and forecast.

Benefits & Time Management

  • Manage benefits processes: enrolments, life events, and eligibility audits.
  • Reconcile Workday benefits data with vendor files, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with carriers/vendors for issue resolution and compliance.
  • Subject matter expert and administrator for Workday absence (policies, calendars, schedules, overtime rules, exceptions).
  • Train managers on time approvals, exceptions, and related processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 Qualifications:

  • Completed Post-secondary education
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in HR Operations
  • Proficient working knowledge of Workday  (business processes and HCM modules (Recruitment, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Time & Absence,  and/or report writing)
  • Excellent reporting and data management skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Fully proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
