Responsibilities
Operate across multiple concurrent initiatives, shaping business and functional requirements, documenting process and operating model change, and supporting delivery teams with auditable analysis.
Work on digital transformation, systems implementation, and operational change programmes within a governed utilities setting.
Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support programme delivery, service improvement, and customer outcomes.
Plan and execute business analysis activity across a portfolio of initiatives using structured techniques (stakeholder workshops, interviews, process mapping) to define current-state and future-state requirements (AS-IS / TO-BE).
Produce outputs such as BRDs, functional and non-functional requirements, process models, impact assessments, and governance materials to guide delivery, adoption, and UAT.
Collaborate with programme and project teams to ensure alignment between business intent and technical implementation; support testing, defect triage, business assurance, and formal sign-off.
Identify process inefficiencies, risks, and dependencies and provide pragmatic recommendations aligned to operational, regulatory, and compliance constraints.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Change Analyst, with a track record of supporting multiple initiatives in parallel across digital transformation, systems implementation, or operational change programmes.
Experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or other regulated sectors is advantageous, especially in environments under formal regulatory oversight (e.g., Ofwat or Ofgem).
Confidence engaging senior and operational stakeholders, ability to work within structured governance frameworks, and capability to produce clear, well-structured documentation.
Strong requirements management, attention to detail, sound judgement, and a delivery mindset.
Preference for analysts who value substance over ceremony and take pride in disciplined execution.
Additional Experience
Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes, ERP or core systems implementations, customer operations change, or target operating model (TOM) design.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models; experience delivering change in compliance-led or audit-sensitive environments.
