This role focuses on managing the design team and ensuring all design output is accurate, consistent, and suitable for manufacture. You will review and check the work of designers, providing technical oversight and maintaining high standards across the department.
Key Responsibilities Manage, support, and develop the design team Review, check, and approve design work prior to release for manufacture Ensure designs meet manufacturing and quality requirements Act as a technical escalation point within the design department Maintain design standards, processes, and documentation Work closely with production and engineering teams What Were Looking For
Proven experience managing a design team within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of design for manufacture principles Confident checking and approving technical drawings Strong leadership and communication skills Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable taking ownership Whats On Offer
