Job Overview:
The Studio Operations & Client Experience Lead is responsible for overseeing daily studio operations while actively supporting sales, client retention, and community engagement. This role blends leadership, operations, relationship-based sales, and marketing support to ensure a high-quality client experience and sustainable studio growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of both people and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Client Engagement: Guide prospective and existing clients into memberships, packages, and services that best meet their needs through relationship-based sales.
  • Offerings Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of all classes, services, workshops, packages, and memberships offered at Emerge.
  • Lead Follow-Up & Retention: Follow up with new and returning clients to support engagement, renewals, and long-term retention.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Support studio promotions, workshops, events, and special offerings to drive awareness and participation.
  • Community & Communication: Assist with newsletters, announcements, and maintaining Emerge's online community and client communications.
  • Client Relations: Build strong client relationships by addressing inquiries, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a high-quality experience.
  • Studio Operations: Oversee smooth day-to-day studio flow, ensuring professionalism, organization, and consistency.
  • Scheduling & Coverage: Manage schedules for staff, instructors, practitioners, and guest teachers to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.
  • Team Liaison: Serve as a liaison between staff and leadership, supporting clear communication, alignment, and follow-through.
  • Team Leadership: Act as a leadership presence during shifts, supporting accountability, professionalism, and performance.
  • Staff Onboarding & Training: Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training team members to uphold studio standards.
  • Inventory & Supplies: Oversee organization and restocking of studio inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Systems & Efficiency: Utilize and help optimize studio systems (MindBody, ConnectTeam, etc.) to improve workflow and client experience.

Qualifications

  • Sales & Service Experience: Experience in sales, client engagement, or leadership roles, preferably within the wellness or service industry.
  • Growth Mindset: Comfortable supporting revenue growth through relationship-based sales, retention, and client follow-up.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, client relations, and communication abilities.
  • Technical Comfort: Ability to quickly learn and effectively use studio systems such as MindBody, Asana, Acusimple, ConnectTeam, and GoHighLevel.
  • Leadership Presence: Organized, dependable, and confident in leading others and managing multiple priorities.
  • Wellness Alignment: Genuine interest in wellness, movement, and holistic health is a plus.

Training & Compensation

  • Training Period: Initial onboarding and training begin at $20/hour
  • Trial Period: 90-day review period
  • Pay Review: Hourly rate adjustment following the trial period based on performance, leadership, and overall fit
